Estimator / Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from initial estimate through project completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend precise cost estimation with effective project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and possess a strong foundation in construction estimating and management practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction estimates using industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, incorporating labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Lead the bidding process by reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage project budgets by monitoring costs throughout the construction process, implementing cost control measures, and adjusting estimates as needed.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any issues promptly.
• Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and prepare reports to keep all stakeholders informed of project status.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with proficiency in Bluebeam and HeavyBid software tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, cost control techniques, and pricing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Hands-on construction site experience coupled with a solid understanding of construction management practices.
• Familiarity with contracts, project management methodologies, and safety standards in the construction industry.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present clear estimates and project updates.
