Delivery / Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting the drivers in delivering products to customers, assisting with warehouse operations as needed, and ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in warehouse operations and delivery assistance to contribute to a dynamic logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques with dollies.
• Deliver products to customers efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
• Assist in warehouse tasks including stock organization, and shipping/receiving
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during route driving
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Assist with moving supplies or equipment within the warehouse as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a warehouse or delivery assistant
• Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, forklift operation, or pallet jack use is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Experience with heavy lifting, moving equipment, or warehouse tools (forklift, pallet jack) is desirable
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled routes and shifts

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
