Marketing Proposal Coordinator (Architecture / Interior Design)

The Switzer Group (TSG) is seeking a
Marketing Proposal Coordinator
with
4+ years of experience in architecture, interior design, engineering, or construction (A/E/C)
to join our New York office. This role supports the preparation and coordination of proposals and other client-facing materials produced in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and related programs.

We're looking for a
detail-oriented, steady professional
who enjoys organizing information, polishing layouts, and ensuring accuracy across multiple deliverables. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within established templates, manages deadlines consistently, and communicates clearly with project teams throughout each submission cycle.

This is
not a social media or public communications-focused position. I
t is a hands-on marketing coordination role for someone who takes pride in well-executed documentation and follows tasks through to completion.

What You'll Do

You will help ensure that TSG's proposals and marketing materials are accurate, current, and visually polished. Working closely with leadership and design teams, you will coordinate content, formatting, and submission requirements to support ongoing pursuit activities and maintain a strong brand presence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Proposal & Qualifications Production:
    Coordinate, format, and assemble proposal responses and qualifications packages in Adobe InDesign using established templates.
  • Collateral Maintenance:
    Update and maintain staff resumes, project descriptions, and other credentials to ensure consistent content across all submissions.
  • Content Updates:
    Track project milestones and update project information, images, and team details in marketing documents and internal systems.
  • Document Formatting:
    Ensure all deliverables are well organized, grammatically correct, visually consistent, and compliant with TSG's style standards.
  • Presentation Support:
    Format interview and presentation decks in PowerPoint or InDesign; assist in layout refinement and material preparation.
  • Administrative Coordination:
    Support photography, award submissions, subconsultant document requests, and marketing library upkeep to keep assets current and accessible.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design,
    or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing or proposal coordination
    within the
    A/E/C industry
    (required).
  • Strong proficiency in
    Adobe InDesign
    and
    Microsoft Word, Excel
    ; working familiarity with
    Photoshop
  • Strong writing
    and
    proofreading
    skills with close attention to grammar, structure, and tone.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A steady, proactive work style, able to follow assignments through to completion and report at the end.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to interface with various team members and outside consultants.
