Jigsaw Developmental Services (JDS) specializes in providing in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental differences. With both clinic-based services as well as home visiting, children and families receive comprehensive support in natural environments, making skill acquisition more meaningful and generalizable to daily life.
JDS understands that educators and paraprofessionals bring invaluable classroom management skills, patience, and child development knowledge that translates beautifully to in-home behavioral support. What you bring to JDS
Ideal candidates have had experience in the following areas:
: as teachers, paraprofessionals, classroom aides, or tutors
ages 2-12 in their home environment
: to work in various family settings
in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred
in educational or special needs settings
A basic and behavior management principles
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with IEPs, 504 plans, or behavior intervention plans
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities
RBT, BCAT, or similar behavioral health certifications (training provided if needed)
Reliable transportation for home visits
What Makes This Role Unique
As an in-home Behavioral Technician, you'll:
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in family homes across the community
Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized treatment plans
Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills in their natural environment
Support families by teaching them strategies to continue progress between sessions
Travel to 2-4 different homes per day, bringing variety to your work routine
Make a direct, measurable impact on each child's development and family's quality of life
