E.A. Quinn Landscape Contracting LLC, a premiere landscape contracting firm, specializing in landscape maintenance, design and construction located in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking to fill a Landscape Foreman position.

Position Summary:

• Manage and direct specific designated routes or installations assigned by Supervisor.
• Provide support, leadership, supervision and training for field personnel, while maintaining the highest efficiency, safety, and production standards possible.
• Effectively communicate in a manner to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
• Develop, maintain and service all work responsibilities in the most efficient and professional manner enforcing company standards for Quality, Safety and Performance.
• Promote a team environment and strong morale, with an effort towards avoiding any form of conflict.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage up to 3 -5 Crew Members at once and provide support and direction while being accountable for their production and quality standards.
• Responsible for training Crew Members on technical skills and general field operational procedures.
• Report information from all field meetings to Crew Members.
• Assist in implementing the clearly defined safety and training programs.
• Assist Supervisor with job information feedback needed for Dispatching and scheduling.
• Responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of all tools and equipment assigned to both the Forman and workers under their supervision.

Position Requirements – Knowledge, Skill & Abilities

• Must have a valid US Driver's License
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency.
• Ability to resolve conflict and problems appropriately and in an effective manner.
• Must have a minimum of two years' experience in landscape maintenance.
• Must be flexible and work around inclement weather.
• Able to work weekends when needed.
• Available to work snow removal during the winter months.
