Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining establishments, or banquet settings. Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service and enhance their overall experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash handling and POS transactions
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed throughout shifts
  • Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, including banquet events
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling, food safety, and alcohol service
  • Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environments; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
  • Experience in brewing or the food industry is advantageous
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality setting
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 30.0 per week
