Duties

• Prepare a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods with precision and care
• Serve customers efficiently at the deli counter, providing friendly assistance and product recommendations to boost sales through upselling techniques
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately while handling cash and credit payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food handling, bussing, and equipment cleaning
• Manage inventory levels by restocking products promptly and organizing displays to maximize visual appeal
• Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with general store duties such as cashiering, customer service, and supporting other departments as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or retail grocery environments is highly preferred
• Fast paste, food Production
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately
• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities

Pay: $ $27.39 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
