Purpose of the Role
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing complex technical solutions that align with an organization's strategic goals. The primary purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technology by creating scalable and innovative solutions that address specific challenges and drive organizational success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales support by performing product demos and working with the sales team on technical discovery and presentation planning.
- Lead and support POC evaluations of our IriusRisk solution. Help customers understand our product and how it can move them from a manual to an automated approach to Threat Modeling.
- Work closely with alliance & channel partners to increase their proficiency in selling and supporting the IriusRisk solution.
- Communicate feedback from prospects and customers to our product engineering and marketing teams.
- Support Customer Success Managers to promote the use of the platform within new and existing customers.
- Evangelise the Threat Modeling space and our product by writing articles, blog pieces and presenting on this topic (recordings and events).
- Update and create customer facing whitepapers and support documentation.
- Help improve and define processes internal with technical guides and process documentation.

Requirements
Essential Skills
- Proven work experience in Technical Sales with proven track record of selling/supporting complex enterprise solutions
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and/or application security.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Degree not required if experience can make up for it
- US based (remote in the US) - CST or EST preferably , for better aligment with the team.
Desired Experience
- Solution Architecture: Previous experience in solution architecture, particularly in designing and implementing complex systems. (3+ years of experience)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the organization operates, including relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of cloud architecture best practices.
- Integration: Experience with designing and implementing integrations between different systems and technologies.
- Project Leadership: Experience leading technical teams or acting as a technical lead on projects.
