Dispensary Security

Overview
A new Dispensary opening soon in Middletown, NY is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Professional to join our new team. Candidate(s) will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the dispensary, staff, customers, and products. Security will enforce security policies, and ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in all customers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor entry/exit points and verify age and identification.
• Conduct regular patrols inside and outside the facility.
• De-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Ensure compliance with state cannabis laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with Store Management regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Complete all training required under State regulations and Company policies..
• Assist customers on the sales floor as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of NYs legal/licensed cannabis industry preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.50 per hour
