Nutrition Assistant

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay: $15.60/hour
Location: On-site at Franklin Discovery Academy (in person)

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve healthy meals to students and staff
• Provide courteous, welcoming customer service
• Restock serving lines and keep food areas clean and organized
• Safely operate standard kitchen equipment
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Assist with food prep for the next day
• Work with your team to maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen environment

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, positive team players who communicate well
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• General knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment (training provided if needed)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a fingerprint background check
• Ability to earn a Food Handler's Permit within 7 days of hire
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working around cleaning and sanitation chemicals
