Kitchen Steward

Position Overview:

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for assisting the dish room and service teams. This role

ensures that the dish team can keep functioning consistently and alleviates pinch points in the Dish room. The steward also assists the FOH when service dips during rushes by resetting coffees, juice, milk and other service items. The Steward will coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

 Stage Dish Room:

o Run Clean Dishes out to the dining room

o Return clean pots and pans to the kitchen

o Stack Cups and sort silverware

o Sort the dirty Pots and Pans rack expedite ready to run items.

o Take out trash from sorting areas

 Beverage Line and Breakfast all day stations

o Keep the soda BIBS filled

o Help keep juices and milks filled

o Keep condiment pumps filled

o Brew coffee & Tea and keep filled

o Replace Ice Cream and Soft serve as needed.

Side Work:

 Kitchen Prep & Restock:

 Clean and Reset serving lines after rushes

 Cleaning Projects as assigned

Compliance & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards for all guest-facing equipment.

• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the Manager on duty.

• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to work on your feet for the entire length of the shift.

• Requires repetitive lifting of 20–50 lbs. throughout the day.

• Must move quickly and efficiently between tasks.

• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures or hazardous conditions.

• Must demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and clear communication.

Schedule: Full Time, Variable days, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm $15-$17 / hour

Job Type: Full-time
