General Description:

The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining documentation that supports compliance with IATF 16949 standard and customer-specific requirements. This role ensures that all quality-related documents are accurate, controlled, and accessible, enabling the organization to meet automotive industry standards and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans, FMEA, and cell documentation.

· Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and related automotive standards.

· Manage document control system: version control, approval workflows, archiving and retrieval.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate technical content.

· Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

· Train employees on documentation procedures and related requirements.

· Monitor and update documentation based on process changes, customer requirements, and audit findings.

· Assist in maintaining records for corrective actions, non-conformance reports, and continuous improvement projects.

Note: Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in documentation control or technical writing within automotive manufacturing.

· Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).

· Knowledge and experience in ERP Systems (IQMS/DELMIAWorks Preferred)

Job Skills and Requirements:

· English language proficiency, including grammar, spelling and punctuation.

· Strong technical writing and editing skills for regulated environments.

· Advanced proofreading ability to ensure accuracy and consistency.

· Proficiency in document control systems and software.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Must have Microsoft Office software (365) experience with a high proficiency in Excel.

· Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48, $52,000.00 per year
