One of only 17 hotels located on Kalakaua Avenue, Hotel La Croix was built in 1972 as the first Hyatt ("Hyatt Lodge") in Hawaii. We are looking for motivated team members interested in ground floor opportunity to experience the redevelopment of the hotel into one of the top destination boutique hotels in Waikiki.

Summary
As a Guest Experience Host Valet, the role is one of a blended dual position role which we are looking for someone who will be able to both park cars and work the front desk as guest service host. An exciting role for one who has previous experience in one or the other areas of either the front desk or valet. and who further wants to expand their skill and experience set.
One must assist our guests with Love + Aloha in all related functions and maintain a high standard of service and hospitality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Drivers License
Prerequisites
- Hospitality, retail, valet or F&B experience
- Open availability preferred - guest experience is a 24/7 operation
- Positive and cheerful attitude, pleasant personality, enjoys meeting people from all over the world and enjoys helping others.
- College degree in Travel Industry Management, Business or equivalent
Essential Functions
- Point person for the guest experience, pre, during, and post stay.
- Take ownership of the guest experience and delivery a personalized and memorable experience to each of our guests.
- Being able to retrieve and park cars.
- Inspect cars for damages and notate them down in the check-in process.
- Engaging with guests to offer them a love and aloha experience.
- Delivery anticipatory service by seeking to understand the guests needs.
- Communicate with the appropriate departments for any guest issues.
- Make reservations and engage with guests throughout the reservations and prearrival process.
- Resolve guest issues in a calm and professional manner, providing solutions and making sure all guests have a 5-star experience.
- Develop a relationship with guests and provide services & recommendations for dining, shopping, actives, taxi, shuttles, wake-up calls, etc.
- Be self motivated to improve everyday.
- Have pride your work environment; keep the front desk as well as lobby areas clean and well organized.
- Experience with Opera PMS is a plus.
