Long Term Substitute Teacher

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Long Term Substitute Teacher to join our educational team in the Music room . This role offers an exciting opportunity to support student learning across various grade levels and classroom settings in the area of Music . Ideal candidates will have a passion for education, experience working with children, and the ability to seamlessly step into classrooms to ensure a positive and productive learning environment. A Long Term Substitute Teacher plays a vital role in maintaining continuity of instruction and fostering a nurturing atmosphere for students.

Duties

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher, ensuring curriculum adherence and instructional continuity
• Develop and adapt lesson plans when necessary, incorporating curriculum development and lesson planning skills
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain classroom management standards to promote a respectful learning environment
• Facilitate activities that promote social-emotional learning and positive behavior management
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom.
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure a secure environment for all students

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred, including preschool experience or classroom experience
• Experience/knowledge of Music theory, appreciation, ability to play an instrument
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students of varying ages and backgrounds
• Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels
• Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching and supporting student growth
• Relevant certifications or credentials in early childhood education or related fields are beneficial but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $140.00 per day
