Über

The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that align with ACP's business needs. This includes custom B2B integrations between ACP and clients/partners, integration between internal systems and other programming as needed in conjunction with the Internal Business Systems team. This role is responsible for overseeing the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and system design to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support while ensuring high standards of quality and reliability. Working across multiple systems and integration points, this position plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, optimizing business processes, and enhancing the performance of enterprise applications. The Sr. Programmer Analyst will work with the Internal Business Systems team along with internal and external customers to transform functional needs into scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of business applications and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical specifications, and recommend solution approaches.
  • Architect and build scalable, secure, and reliable software components, APIs, interfaces, and data pipelines.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization across applications and databases.
  • Manage full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring documentation, version control, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts, and cross-functional team members.
  • Maintain and enhance ERP/PSA/CRM/HRIS system integrations including customizations, workflows, and data integrations.
  • Oversee data quality, integrity, and transformation logic across connected systems and reporting environments.
  • Develop and execute test plans, automated tests, and validation scripts to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant system design.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies, tools, frameworks, and development methodologies.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, specifications, and support materials.
  • Support internal customers by troubleshooting application issues and providing Tier 3 technical expertise.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
  • Participate in project planning, resource estimation, and cross-functional governance activities to ensure delivery success.

Knowledge, Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Associate's degree with equivalent experience.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst or Software Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, C#, and .NET.
  • Solid understanding of integration technologies including RESTful/SOAP APIs and data formats like JSON and XML.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL) and data modelling.
  • Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and integration techniques.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with strong collaboration skills.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
