Team Overview The Corporate Marketing & Communications team plays a crucial role in articulating Pearson's unique position globally while fostering solid relationships with consumers, enterprises, policymakers, and the media. Our aim is to elevate Pearson's reputation through consistent and strategic brand management, ensuring our communication resonates with our target audiences and enhances the value of our products. Role Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and strategic Copywriter to support the rollout of Pearson's refreshed brand strategy through the end of 2025. This position involves creating compelling content tailored for a variety of audiences, including internal teams and both B2B and B2C markets. You will be instrumental in maintaining brand governance standards while translating internal strategies into impactful external messaging. The ideal candidate will possess a talent for engaging storytelling and data-driven insight, adeptly crafting text for diverse platforms such as emails, web pages, social media, blogs, marketing materials, and more. Key Responsibilities: Uphold Pearson’s Brand Voice:
Ensure all written content aligns with Pearson’s standards and provide constructive guidance to maintain consistency across communications. Collaborative Feedback:
Work with brand managers and directors to support employees in utilizing the brand’s messaging effectively. Employee Empowerment:
Educate and empower staff on Pearson’s tone of voice, providing clear and actionable feedback. Craft Compelling Content:
Adapt your writing style for diverse touchpoints to ensure effective communication across B2B, B2C, and internal platforms. Strengthen Brand Governance:
Identify improvement opportunities and support teams in optimizing brand consistency. Collaborate with Creative Teams:
Partner with the brand team and external agencies to develop consumer-focused copy that aligns with Pearson's brand strategy. Dynamic Messaging:
Leverage impactful messaging to enhance Pearson's brand presence across various media. Key Attributes: 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or corporate setting. Expertise in writing across various formats including websites, emails, social media, and marketing content. Strong collaboration skills with designers and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with excellent grammar and spelling skills. Exceptional organizational and communication abilities. Deadline-driven with a proactive approach to project timelines. Proficient in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Culturally agile, with an ability to operate in a global environment. Compensation:
The salary range for this full-time role is between $70,000 to $75,000. This position is also eligible to participate in the sales incentive plan.
