We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support the sales team in achieving targets, improve the customer experience, and contributing to the overall success of the company. You will become a product knowledge specialist, providing insights into prospects with lead generation and competitive analysis being a key focus. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on analytics, database management, and sales and marketing in space. This is a hybrid role, expected to be in our San Jose when required for customer support and able to travel for customer or trade events. Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify inbound and outbound leads through email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer needs, timelines, budgets, and technical constraints Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development or Sales lead. Support writing comprehensive new business development proposals, responses to solicitations/requests for information (RFIs), and other presentations to customers Competitive intelligence gathering and analysis Maintain and update proposal templates, pitch decks, and standard sales collateral Liaise between Engineering, Product, Finance and Legal teams on product solutions for the customer Assist with internal proposal reviews and approval processes Required Skills and Experience
Good technical communications skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Teams, Word, Power point, Excel and OneDrive Exceptional time management, organization, and coordination skills Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while producing quality work products Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience working with customer relationship management tools Experience working with Jira and similar project management tools Experience with proposal and/or technical writing Education & Work Experience:
BS Degree in Engineering, Business or related field 1+ years relevant experience Required experience closely related & discipline to space Compensation:
Annual Base Salary Range: $ 85,000 to 100,000/per year Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and is determined within a range. Your actual base salary will be determined on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Our benefit plans include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, short and long term disability and life insurance. We also offer flexible PTO, along with 11 paid holidays, sick time and paid parental leave. This is a full-time position in San Jose, California. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
