Overview Join as a key team player in experience design, contributing to impactful user experiences in the digital financial space. As a Lead UX Designer/Researcher in our Global Capital Technology team, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, structuring, and detailing offerings within the context of a broader user journey. You will leverage your developing knowledge of design and research practices to collaborate with senior UX leads to execute tasks and projects that align with established policies and procedures. Your work will have a direct impact on a green field application within a discipline, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience. Contribute to the team's decision-making process and help drive customer-centric innovation strategies. At the Lead level, demonstrate proficiency in experience design craft skills as well as strategic and self-starter initiatives, while continuously developing expertise in these and other design-focused areas. Responsibilities
Develop and execute design/research strategies for complex projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas
Lead end-to-end UX design initiatives, including diagramming service flows, designing wireframes, and prototyping interactions for key touchpoints
Lead the UX design process for multiple projects including the creation of wireframes, UI designs, and interactive prototypes with our design system
Map user journeys and personas to inform design decisions
Partner with product and development teams to launch solutions that balance business, user, and technical priorities
Distinguish between feature requests and design improvements from user goals and objectives
Present designs with expertise and rationale while advocating for end users
Evangelize UX benefits to product teams and mentor other more junior designers
Design and execute research studies to identify user needs, preferences, and behaviors to foster product improvements and innovation
Analyze and interpret data using advanced quantitative and qualitative methods and translate insights into actionable recommendations for enhancing user experience
Facilitate surveys and interviews with users to gather information on user needs and desires and create user testing scenarios to refine the product or feature based on findings
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Significant experience and expertise in experience design or a related UX discipline within the digital product space
Previous experience in visual design and interaction principles, with a focus on creating aesthetically appealing and functional digital experiences
Demonstrated proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping to effectively communicate and refine design concepts
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, inclusive design practices, and assistive technologies to ensure a diverse and inclusive user experience
Previous exposure to industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Experience with Figma is a plus
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or React is a plus
Experience with AI is a plus
Experience with data viz is a plus
