Hotel General Manager

Elite Hospitality is currently seeking a General Manager for the 100 room Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach. This position requires hands on experience in all phases of hotel management; including housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, sales and marketing, human resources and food and beverage for a complimentary breakfast hotel.

Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
• Manage and train staff members to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any complaints or issues.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the hotel.
• Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure quality control.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue to achieve financial targets.

Experience:

• Previous experience as Hotel General Manager is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations.
• Knowledge of front desk operations, night audit procedures, and reservation systems.
