We are seeking a
Logistics Associate
on a
contract basis
to help support our customer's business needs. This role is
100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, execution, and optimization of parcel distribution strategy with a focus on express carrier services
- Manage and grow relationships with global express carriers and implement carrier performance frameworks
- Conduct regular carrier business reviews with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Identify and evaluate new regional and local carrier partners, including app-based parcel services
- Establish carrier selection criteria and manage end-to-end sourcing and selection processes
- Negotiate carrier agreements and statements of work to achieve optimal pricing, flexibility, service levels, and commercial terms
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high service quality and customer promise performance
- Collaborate with logistics operations, network design, application management, and solution teams across product lifecycle stages
- Support parcel distribution strategies across prototype, mass production, and reverse logistics flows
- Align stakeholders on objectives and execution plans for organization-wide logistics initiatives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement within logistics categories
- Identify opportunities beyond the immediate functional scope to enhance network performance and growth
Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience sourcing or managing express carrier services or holding a commercial role with a global express carrier
- Experience operating within e-commerce logistics networks
- Previous experience with Parcel Express
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven ability to communicate, influence, and align stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong negotiation and strategic sourcing capabilities
- Demonstrated focus on performance management, cost optimization, and service excellence
- Logistics procurement experience (perhaps from DHL Express, UPS, or FedEx)
