Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen while supporting food preparation and service. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Experience in restaurant, catering, hotel, or culinary settings is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, kitchen operations, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas.
• Help with catering setup and breakdown for events or banquets as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Assist kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and learning.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed.
