We are seeking a dynamic, mission-aligned, and highly organized Clinic Manager to lead the daily operations of our reproductive healthcare facility, including abortion care. This pivotal leadership role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care; efficient and compliant clinic operations; and a supportive, values-driven work environment.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility setting, demonstrate strong people and operational leadership, and bring a deep understanding of reproductive healthcare delivery, patient confidentiality, and clinic safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage clinic financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, billing, and revenue cycle processes, using EMR/EHR systems such as AthenaOne or comparable platforms
  • Supervise and support administrative staff, clinical support staff, and nursing personnel, fostering a trauma-informed, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations related to abortion and reproductive healthcare, including HIPAA, OSHA, Title X (if applicable), state licensing requirements, and internal clinical policies
  • Uphold strict patient confidentiality, safety, and security protocols, including coordination around protester activity, patient privacy, and staff well-being
  • Utilize practice management and EHR systems to streamline documentation, scheduling, reporting, and patient communication
  • Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution in alignment with organizational values and HR best practices
  • Monitor and evaluate clinic performance metrics including patient access, service utilization, quality assurance, and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Partner with the Executive Director and Medical Director to support clinic growth, service expansion, and long-term sustainability

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in clinic management, healthcare operations, or medical office leadership, preferably in reproductive health, abortion care, sexual health, or community health settings
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a clinical environment
  • Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and revenue cycle oversight
  • Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems (e.g., AthenaOne, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms)
  • In-depth understanding of patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and healthcare regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with abortion care operations, reproductive health services, or trauma-informed clinical models is strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stakes environment while maintaining attention to detail, calm decision-making, and clear communication
  • Commitment to reproductive justice, patient dignity, staff support, and equity-centered healthcare delivery
