Duties

• Safely operate a refrigerated van with manual transmission to pick up and deliver meat boxes across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using a dolly, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups.
• Verify delivery accuracy, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with refrigerated vans or similar commercial vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting or moving items.
• Warehouse experience including familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and inventory handling is a plus.
• Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
• Prior experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates.
