Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple residential properties within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of property management operations, and a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations. This role offers an opportunity to manage diverse property assets, ensure operational excellence, and foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors across the region. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in property leasing, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, and administrative functions, contributing to the overall success of our property management team.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including Fair Housing regulations and Landlord-tenant law.
- Manage leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract management utilizing tools like Appfolio.
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Supervise property staff and vendors, providing guidance on conflict resolution, performance management, and training.
- Ensure accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping related to leasing agreements, maintenance logs, and legal documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify areas for improvement or repair.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize occupancy rates through effective Upselling techniques and customer service excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants by addressing inquiries promptly via professional phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills.
- Monitor compliance with Section 8, and other subsidy programs while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on property performance metrics for regional or corporate review meetings.
- Assist in budget planning, expense control, and financial reporting related to property operations.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, and relevant legal frameworks governing property management.
- Proficiency in property management software such as Appfolio.
- Strong administrative experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and office procedures.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle lease agreements, vendor contracts, and conflict resolution effectively.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on building positive tenant relationships through professional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in property leasing, facilities management, maintenance coordination, and real estate administrative functions.
- Ability to manage multiple properties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in compliance documentation and operational reports.
- Strong organizational skills combined with conflict management capabilities; adept at handling sensitive situations professionally.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law applicable to the region; experience in legal administrative processes is a plus.
- Ability to upsell services or amenities that enhance tenant satisfaction while supporting property revenue goals. This position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to operational excellence in property management while fostering positive community environments across multiple properties within the region.
Pay: $62, $75,593.42 per year
