Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and timeliness
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and obtain signatures upon receipt
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and proper functioning
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for dispatch

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations, route planning, and safe driving practices
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly, demonstrating physical strength and stamina
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques
• Excellent organizational skills for load & unload procedures and route management
