Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service environments, including restaurants, catering, or hospitality settings, and possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Duties

  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
  • Support food service operations by bussing tables and clearing plates during service
  • Help with catering and banquet setups, ensuring timely and organized presentation of food items
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by cleaning surfaces and disposing of waste properly
  • Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
  • Support the culinary team with basic cooking tasks as needed during busy periods
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and ingredients

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
  • Experience with bussing, serving, or banquet setup is a plus
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds when necessary
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
