Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and maintain a smooth workflow across all departments. Duties

  • Manage the daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction
  • Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to ensure effective teamwork and compliance with office policies
  • Follow up on unpaid claims
  • Maintain medical records accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation within Dentrix.
  • Implement human resources practices including training and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to uphold clinic standards for acute care, dental procedures, and administrative support
  • Monitor admin inventory levels and order office supplies as needed
  • Monitor and carry out schedule changes, cover if needed, to support seamless operations
  • Address patient complaints.
  • Oversee end of day reports and send a final summary to the owner.

Experience

  • Proven experience in dental office is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures, including familiarity with Dentrix, or similar practice management software
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, and HIPAA compliance.
