Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements during busy hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of Toasttab POS system
• ITALIAN FOOD AND WINE KNOWLEDGE IS AN IMPORTANT PLUS
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate bill splitting.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in host/host roles or serving positions that demonstrate guest relations expertise. Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
