Über
Gritty is seeking
Sales Development Representatives (SDR)
to support outbound pipeline generation across our employer and recruiting solutions.
This role is responsible for executing outbound sales development activities, including prospecting, engaging, qualifying, and scheduling meetings with relevant decision-makers. SDRs play a critical role
in building qualified pipeline and supporting revenue growth.
Participants complete a structured
7-week onboarding and enablement period
, followed by placement into a
paid Sales Development Fellowship
, where they execute outbound sales motions focused primarily on
SMB accounts
. SDRs will prospect, engage, and qualify employers across the medical device, pharmaceutical, and technology industries, bringing to market Gritty's career and recruiting software to both hiring teams and early-career professionals.
What You'll Do -
Phase 1: 7-Week Outbound SDR Onboarding
- Research target SMB accounts and buyer personas
- Execute outbound prospecting strategies
- Develop cold calling skills and objection handling
- Run multi-channel outbound sequences (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Communicate value propositions and qualify leads
- Manage activity and pipeline in CRM
- Participate in role-plays, live cold calls, call reviews, and coaching
Phase 2: Paid Outbound SDR Fellowship (12–16 Weeks)
- Execute daily outbound activity (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
- Prospect and engage hiring managers, recruiters, and founders
- Qualify prospects and book discovery meetings
- Meet defined activity and meeting targets
- Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
- Support pipeline generation for the sales team
The fellowship duration may be extended based on performance and business needs. High-performing SDRs may be considered for full-time roles at Gritty prior to or upon completion of the fellowship.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Coachable mindset with the ability to incorporate feedback
- Comfort with outbound activity or a strong willingness to develop that skill
- Strong organization, time management, and accountability
- Ability to work remotely and maintain consistent availability
