Our Virginia Beach, Virginia facility is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage inbound goods. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately unloading, inspecting, and documenting all incoming inventory. This includes verifying quantities against purchase orders, identifying any damages or discrepancies, and properly entering data into our inventory management system. A key aspect of this role is maintaining clear communication with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any issues promptly. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with warehouse operations and logistics is preferred. This position is vital for ensuring our supply chain remains efficient and accurate. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our inventory records. Strict adherence to safety guidelines and the correct utilization of PPE are essential. This role requires significant manual handling and involves lifting objects up to 40 lbs regularly. Your contribution to maintaining a safe and productive logistics hub is highly valued.
