Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is seeking a qualified Warehouse Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining warehouse equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting **logistics** activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to **safety**. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally. Proper use of **PPE** and adherence to **safety** guidelines are critical. While not solely a **lifting** role, you may be required to assist with material movement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, palletizers).
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with **safety** standards.
- Conduct **safety** inspections and report any hazards.
- Operate equipment as needed to test functionality or assist with **logistics**.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Wear and utilize all required **PPE** diligently.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of equipment or materials during maintenance.
- Support the overall efficiency and **safety** of warehouse **logistics**.
This position requires a strong background in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably within a warehouse or **logistics** setting.
