Our premier logistics company in the heart of New York City, New York, is searching for a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our vast inventory, implementing effective control measures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing audits, investigating discrepancies, and managing inventory adjustments within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will collaborate closely with receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of inventory management principles, and a proven ability to improve operational efficiency within a logistics context. Experience with WMS software is essential. While this role may not involve constant physical labor, some lifting may be required for stock checks or repositioning. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where applicable, is expected. - Developing and implementing inventory control procedures.

- Managing inventory adjustments and stock transfers in the WMS.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Using PPE when necessary for specific inventory tasks.
- Reporting on inventory accuracy and key performance indicators (KPIs).
