Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of all inventory movements in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment or adjustments.
- Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
- Train and guide other warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
