Seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our logistics operations by performing a variety of essential warehouse duties. This includes receiving and inspecting goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring quality.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist other departments as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are key requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Experience with scanning equipment or inventory systems is a plus.
