As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets, loads, and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately according to warehouse layout.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to Safety.
- Ensure proper use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of Logistics operations and inventory flow.
