Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse locations according to order pick lists.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to identify and track inventory.
- Verify that picked items match order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other stock-taking activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the order fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended durations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
