Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials in high-rise racking systems.
- Safely navigate warehouse aisles and loading docks.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any defects.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and other vehicles.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory within racking systems.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
