Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Madison, Wisconsin! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our extensive logistics operations. This role involves a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including order fulfillment, material handling, and ensuring the efficient flow of products through our facility. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing to the timely and accurate delivery of goods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack products for outgoing shipments.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stocking and organization.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform quality checks to ensure product integrity.
- Be capable of performing Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including significant Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- A proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
- Familiarity with PPE usage.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
