Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting our overall logistics efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management best practices. You will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for stock optimization.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Assist with tasks involving moderate Lifting as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of Safety best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with manual Lifting up to 40 lbs.
