We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This leadership role is vital for managing daily warehouse activities, optimizing workflow, and ensuring efficient logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, strong organizational skills, and a keen understanding of Safety protocols. You will oversee a team of warehouse associates, manage inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure adherence to all company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics and workflow strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices.
- Coordinate with carriers and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with tasks including Lifting and moving materials as needed.
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with Shipping and Receiving processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Lifting equipment operation.
- Demonstrated understanding of logistics principles.
