Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of essential tasks. You will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to contributing to our team's success. Your work will directly impact our ability to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain accurate inventory levels within our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods and materials.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves and in designated warehouse areas.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, consolidating, and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company Safety policies.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE , such as safety vests, gloves, and appropriate footwear.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or general labor role is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform frequent Lifting .
- A solid understanding of and commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with Logistics concepts is a plus.
