Are you meticulous and organized? Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in San Francisco, California! This role is critical for the first step in our supply chain, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory integrity and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies, documenting any issues found.
- Enter received items into the inventory management system accurately.
- Tag, label, and organize incoming inventory for storage.
- Stage items for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or a similar administrative role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a logistics environment.
