We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our bustling logistics operations in Miami, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are required to follow strict Safety protocols and wear mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires organization, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. While not as physically demanding as some roles, occasional Lifting of packages up to 30 lbs may be required. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documents accurately (bills of lading, manifests).
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verify package information against shipping orders for accuracy.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all shipments comply with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use appropriate PPE when required for specific tasks.
- Assist with inventory checks and reconciliation as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and shipping software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of logistics processes is beneficial.
- Commitment to Safety and following procedures.
