Job Description

As a Senior Finance Manager at FLINT, you will be a strategic business partner to the Finance department. Based out of our Calgary office the role entails managing financial processes, providing analytical insights, and ensuring compliance with financial controls while fostering a culture of financial accountability within the organization.

What would you be doing?

  • Perform strategic financial analysis and reporting to identify trends and deliver insights that support executive decision‑making.
  • Recommend performance improvement initiatives, including process optimizations, cost‑efficiency measures, and strategic enhancements.
  • Partner with Commercial/BD and Operations teams to structure financially sound, operationally aligned contract terms.
  • Lead the development of competitive financial contract designs that strengthen the company's commercial position while maintaining strong partner relationships.
  • Build business cases, financial models, rate build templates, and cash‑curve tools to support investments, bids, and commercial strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, plus a CPA or CFA designation.
  • 5–10 years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, including proven leadership in financial planning or commercial finance roles.
  • Advanced spreadsheet, database, financial modeling, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and commercial finance capabilities, with experience in complex corporate environments.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly and strategically.
Additional Information
