We are a full service veterinary hospital in Moorpark looking to add a part time Customer Service Representative/Receptionist to our team.
The Receptionist/Client Service Representative's (CSR) duties include, but are not limited to , answering the phone, differentiating between routine and emergency cases, scheduling appointments, greeting and assisting clients, admitting and checking out patients, processing payments, managing financial information, processing pet insurance claims, taking refill requests and messages, responding to emails, and communicating information between clients, staff and Doctors.
*This is NOT a Vet tech or Vet assistant position.*
- MUST be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Must have at least 1 year of Veterinary Receptionist , Technician or Assistant experience
- Must be comfortable closing and opening the office alone.
- Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases. Must be able to lift 30 lbs with or without assistance.
- Must have strong phone, text and email skills
- Must have strong computer skills and be able to easily and quickly send forms to owners.
Pay is commensurate with skill level and experience.
