What you will be doing:

The Service Field Technician (SFT) consults with Ford AV clients to help maintain, diagnose, and repair their A/V systems. The SFT works with Ford's Customer Care Dispatch team and is responsible for providing quality customer service to diverse clientele, utilizing hand tools and diagnostic equipment, attending to service calls and work orders in a timely manner, and repairing A/V systems and equipment. The SFT can expect to visit an average of two to three client sites per day.

What we are looking for:

• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot A/V or technology systems
• Programming experience with Crestron/AMX
• Prior experience installing/repairing commercial A/V (sound, video, lighting, projection systems)
• Experience processing work orders/Service tickets
• Ability to communicate technical issues and resolution plans clearly both verbally and written
• Associates degree or higher in electronics or related field preferred

• Drug Testing and DOT: Ford is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and, therefore, all employees are subject to drug testing. This is a safety sensitive position; therefore, a DOT certification is also required.
