Apartment Maintenance Technician

The applicant must have 2-3 years of maintenance experience to be considered for this position.

Open to work under a contract basis.

Schedule: Monday-Fridays: 8 AM – 6 PM. Must be available for Saturday.

After hours emergency (Paid at a higher rate).

Paid Holidays, Vacation Time offered after a specified period of Employment has been completed.

Emergency On Call: Must be available to respond to maintenance emergency calls outside of regular work hours.

Applicant Must Possess the following skills:
- Must be professional and friendly with a good attitude, this position requires a lot of interaction with residents
- Must own a vehicle and be able to drive to different apartment buildings in the Geographical Area

-Must own their own Tools

-Experience in Remodeling work
- Auto, gas, and cell phone compensation provided for travel during work hours
- In depth knowledge of Plumbing: Possess skills to find the source of leak quickly and accurately, repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Plumbing: Understanding of plumbing and the ability to install plumbing fixtures which include garbage disposals, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, faucets, snaking clogged pipes
- Knowledge of drywall work, painting, patching, caulking and grout work
- Basic understanding of appliances and their installation: dishwashers, fridges, washer/dryers
- Knowledge of apartment hardware and installation which includes doorknobs/locks, doors, cabinetry, vanities, door locks, glass sliding doors
- Perform maintenance repairs and inspections on vacant apartments to ensure proper operating conditions and appearance upon move in
- Basic understanding of HVAC Systems
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and tools
- Must possess your own tool collection
- Report to Property Manager and Property Supervisor daily

Full Time – 40 hours per week

Salary based on prior experience and certifications.
