Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position with weekend availability. This role offers competitive pay along with various benefits and the opportunity to work in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Job Description:
Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in compliance with PT Board guidelines.
Assist in maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the department.
Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas.
Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician.
Assist the nursing department with the training of Restorative Aides.
Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, issues, and plans.
Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
Document any treatment changes according to policy and procedures.
Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
Report any problems with department equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working order.
Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families, staff, and professional colleagues.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License.
