Ab Initio ETL Developer

Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid 3-Day)

Status: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of Ab Initio ETL processes and data pipelines
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring within the team
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance of data workflows
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience (graphs, plans, ETL)
• Strong SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server)
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI integration
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide client support
