Shipping & Receiving

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Attend to daily shipments and inventory as assigned.
• Perform outside process transactions in the respective database.
• Review inventory for obsolescence.
• Advise on miscellaneous problems or situations.
• Perform associated ERP system transactions.
• Assist in the shipment of parts/projects.
• Additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervision

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Math skills
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and requirements
• Organizational skills
• Ability to learn and navigate DRT's operating system
• Effectively use various ERP modules for shipping, receiving, material issues, inventory transactions, sales order maintenance, and MRP.
• Use of the Geneva system
• Reliable and dependable

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent education

Experience with shipping and/or receiving

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and understand manufacturing routings.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Uses addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions. Uses simple formulae, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules. Checks reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.

REASONING ABILITY:
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
